Monday the 17 of June. This is us at the Donkey Sanctuary where the donkeys chased after car for the carrots we got to feed them. The Donkey Sanctuary has 500 donkeys which got there because when the automobile was invented they weren't needed to carry around goods. The donkeys on the island have no natural predators, so their population increased. They can be found wandering around the streets and can get hit by cars. The sanctuary provides a safe place for them to live. Some of the donkeys are even used in fights against aggressive dogs where people bet to see how long they will live. If the donkeys are injured they can go to the sanctuary in order to receive help and a safe place to heal and live.
